My background started as a Customer Service Manager, in the medical division of a large manufacturing Company. I transitioned from there, into outside sales, as a direct representative. After a few years, the company decided to change from direct representation to independent representation, and offered me the line, as an ISR (Independent Sales Rep). I had no experience as an independent rep, so it was an exceptionally large step for me to take. It was quite a change from being a direct rep and having all the company benefits! The phrase “You eat what you kill” became a reality for me…. 

I established Gosnell Medical Sales in 1996 as a Sole Proprietor.

I started working as an Independent outside sales rep, handling one major medical product line, (the manufacturer I was originally working for direct), covering the western region. Over the next several years I added additional product lines, to my portfolio, growing the business considerably, resulting in the need to add additional representation, to help me cover the territory. During this timeframe, my two older sons worked for me, part time, during their high school years, and one of them even stayed on through his college years, assisting me in development and strategy. They both eventually moved on to their own individual paths. 

Due to our growth, I made the decision to incorporate the business, in 2002.

Gosnell Medical Sales, Inc., has been successful and grown significantly….and currently includes, my younger son, William (CJ) Gosnell, who is now a managing partner, his wife, Melissa Erkel-Gosnell is our Administrative Support, and my daughter, Alisha Gosnell, who oversees daily operations & Marketing.
